Snow Removal & Ice Control
Calgary winters do not wait for a convenient time. What a Calgary yard needs, season by season
Calgary gives you a short growing season and a long winter. Here is roughly how the work moves through the year.
Spring
April – May
Snow comes off and the yard needs clearing before the grass gets going. Cleanup first, then mowing starts as the lawn wakes up.
Summer
June – August
Peak growth. Recurring mowing and trimming keeps the lawn at a healthy length instead of letting it get away and need a hard cut.
Fall
September – October
Growth slows and leaves start dropping. Mowing tapers off while cleanup work picks up ahead of the first real snowfall.
Winter
